Upgrading the Agriculture and Veterinary Institute Curriculum, A step forward in Agriculture TVET Development in Afghanistan
Highlights of Signing MoU between NAEC, ASDPII and DTMTVET
Over the last several years NAEC worked closely with DMTVET on the development of a new curriculum for Agriculture High Schools. The AHS curriculum development process is almost complete and the roll out process ongoing. As part of the roll-out all AHS teachers receive comprehensive in-service training, of both a technical and pedagogical nature. The new curriculum is competence based, and greatly emphasizes practical training.
Considering the successful development of the AHS curriculum by NAEC, ASDPII and DMTVET have now requested NAEC to develop the new curricula for Agronomy and Horticulture for Agriculture and Veterinary institutes. The new AVI curricula will dovetail with the new curriculum for AHS. The curriculum development process is expected to take three years, and as before, NAEC will closely work together with the specialists of DMTVET.
To have been selected for this important task is an honor for NAEC and the Management Team would like to congratulate all the NAEC Staff.
When you pursue quality and work hard success will run after you.
