On 14 December, 2015, National Agriculture Education College held a graduation ceremony for the students of Third Batch. Over 160 students, consisting of 39 female students obtained their degrees in four different specializations (Plant Science, Animal Science, Agri-Business Management and Rural Development).
The graduated students will serve Afghanistan as professional agriculture instructors. National Agriculture Education College (NAEC) is Afghanistan’s only agricultural vocational teacher training institute, where students are supported and trained to become teachers at Agriculture High Schools (AHS).
Their Excellencies Deputy Minister of TVET Mr. Raheel Formoli and The Ambassador of Netherlands Mr Henk Jan Bakker were the chief guests. Additionally, staff members of NAEC, students and their respected families were part of the ceremony.

National Agriculture Education College (NAEC) successfully conducted the entrance exam for the year of 2016 on December 8, 2015. Entrance exam was conducted in ten provinces namely, Badakhshan, Baghlan, Balkh, Jawzjan, Bamyan, Paktia, Kandahar, Nimroz, Nangrahar and Kabul. The above mentioned provinces were selected as centers for all 34 provinces.
The amount of participants in the entrance exam was eye-catching. A total number of 989 students participated in the entrance exam, 26 of which were female students.

National Agriculture Education College intends to improve the quality of education at agricultural high schools (AHS) through the supply of educational materials. Material support refers to the supply of equipment that will enable schools to fully execute the high school curriculum, whether a subject is theoretical or practical, or taught inside or outside the classroom.
NAEC provides AHS with farm equipment, farm design and fencing which would be very helpful in practical farm studies and lab equipment for better lab practical works .NAEC also provides furniture which mostly consists of chairs and tables for students and teachers.
In the process of equipping AHS around Afghanistan, NAEC initiated its teaching materials and equipment providing phase to some of AHS in (Jawzjan, Parwan, Kabul, Logar, Laghman, Nangarhar and Kunar) provinces of Afghanistan.
NAEC plans to continue supporting AHS around Afghanistan with better and up-to-date teaching materials, farm equipment, lab equipment, books and more, so that AHS students around Afghanistan can benefit from the latest materials and equipment.
National Agriculture Education College (NAEC) is proud to announce the conduction of Entrance Exam for 2016. Graduates from Agriculture High Schools are informed that the entrance exam will be held in nine provinces namely Badakhshan, Baghlan, Balkh, Jawzjan, Bamyan, Paktia, Kandahar, Nimroz and Nangarhar on December 8, 2015.

NAEC supported 7 female graduates of the Agribusiness Management, Rural Development and Plant Science Departments toward beginning four month (January-April, 2015) internships in one of the MAIL (Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock) projects, with the objective to enable these girls to to familiarise themselves with the working environment.
